Please know that this can be easily adapted for Autumn Equinox. My intention is to share more rituals, ceremonies and practices throughout the year so that we have an archive of resources that you can dip into depending on the season you are in.
As Circle Holders, many of us are drawn to the ancient rhythms of nature, finding inspiration in the changing seasons for both our personal practices and our Circles.
In our Circle work, we recognise the significance of tending to both the outer seasons and our inner seasons. Just as the Earth transitions from one phase to another, so too do we experience shifts in our own physical, emotional, and spiritual cycles.
Some of us may currently find ourselves in a season of awakening and blooming, while others are releasing and grieving. As a collective, we hold the capacity to honour and reconcile these opposites, finding balance amidst the ebb and flow of life.
The Spring Equinox marks a pivotal moment in the year, offering an opportunity to align ourselves and our gatherings with the balance and harmony of the natural world.
In the British Isles it is a day when the energies of the dragon stir within the earth and within ourselves, signalling a time of awakening.
The Equinox, with its equal parts light and dark, invites us to embrace the theme of balancing and reconciling opposites:
seen and unseen
known and unknown
creation and destruction
death and rebirth
materialism and spirituality
conscious and unconscious
active and receptive
light and dark
fortune and misfortune
in-breath and out-breath
inner journey and outer journey
logic and intuition
Each of these could be a powerful theme for a Sharing or Ceremonial Circle.
